Up for auction is this 1968 Dodge Charger. This car was bought new by my brother who drove it until 1982. It was then given to our nephew who removed the original 383ci engine and replaced it with what I believe to be a 440 motor. He also repainted the car from the original Nassau Blue to black. Traction bars were also been added to the suspension. In 1987 he was involved in an accident that left the hood, front left fender, and bumper in need of replacement. There does not seem to be any frame damage. The car has not moved since that date. The nephew has since died and the car is part of an estate. The car has a four speed transmission and a posi-traction rear. I do not know the ratio. The interior, with the exception of the driver seat bottom is in excellent condition for a car of this age. Gauges are original. The steering wheel has been replaced. There is a spare transmission, two intake manifolds, and other assorted parts that will go to the winning bidder. As indicated earlier, the car has been sitting for a long time. All tires are flat/damaged. The car has been in a garage the entire time so it should role with inflated tires. The removal of this automobile is the responsibility of the winning bidder. I will not ship. A Paypal deposit of 25% or $1,000, whichever is lower is required. The balance can be paid in cash at the time of pick-up. This car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time.
