Up for sale is a 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday 88 4 door hardtop (no post) with 61,500 original miles. This was the first year for the Oldsmobile 4 door hardtop. This all original car features the Rocket 88 V8 with the Bat-Wing air cleaner, Hydromantic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, tinited glass and working AM Radio. The car is in all original condition with all parts intact. You won't have to search for missing parts! The new Coker Classic wide white bias ply tires are correct original replacements. This car is an excellent project because everything is there including a NOS replacement lower molding for the drivers door to replace the scuffed original. The body of the car needs restoration due to rust in the usual areas. Please view the attached pictures. The floor boards appear to be in good condition. The chrome is in very good condition. The dashboard is in excellent condition. The headliner is good. The interior seat covers and carpet need replacement. The car runs and drives. The wipers do not work properly due to a leak in the vacuum wiper motor. The Treadle-Vac Unit was rebuilt and the wheel cylinders and brakes were replaced. Front fender Holiday emblems, replacement shocks, shop manual, transmission reseal kit, custom fit car cover and used fuel/vacuum pump go with the car.
