Up for bid is a 1961 Nash Metropolitan, it DOES NOT RUN, it is rusty but I have seen worse restored. It is more work than I want to get into so I am selling it. It was sitting in a barn for many years, the last time it was plated was 1976. It does appear to be nearly complete, all major parts are there. Please see pictures what you see in the pictures is what I have and it all goes with the car. The motor has some kind of race cam in it, according to the previous owner and there is a plate in the motor compartment about it (see pictures). The motor seems to be stuck and will not turn over. The mileage listed is just what the speedometer reads, I don't know if it is correct. I have the Indiana title for it and it was signed by the previous owner but was never notorized. I am selling it AS IS, WHERE IS, the sale is final no returns. The reserve is very low so bid to buy. At the end of the auction the high bidder will need to make a $100.00 non refundable deposit to my paypal account and bring the remainder in cash at the time of pick up. No items to be removed until paid in full. If you are the high bidder you agree to the terms listed here and will be held accountable for the pick up and purchase of this item. Since this car does not run you will need to bring a trailer to pick it up within 30 days, if you can not pick it up within 30 days you need to make arrangements with me before you bid. I will not ship this item but will work with your shipping company to get it loaded. I have done my best to describe the car as accurately as possible.
