Up for auction is this 1978 Dodge power wagon.Before i start the mileage stated is what the odometer reads but im sure that it is in excess of 100,000 miles.Please note that you will have to bring you own battery,the battery in picture is NOT included.This truck is in pretty good shape considering that its 32 years old.Truck starts right up and runs real strong.doesnt smoke or leak oil.Tranny shifts great and has new shift lever seals and doesnt leak a drop,also has new fluid and filter.The cab does have some rust but is very repairable and restorable.The bed/box is in good shape for its age.The wood floor is still all there and still pretty solid but to look good should be replaced.Transfer case and 4 wheel drive works smooth and great.Truck has plenty of power.I bought this truck to restore but have too many projects going on all at once so i have decided to let some of them go.There are some new brake lines and the brakes work great.All of the lights work as well as the turn signals and 4 way flashers.The tail light wireing works but the tail lights are missing.The exhaust is in fair condition,it has dual exhaust with glass packs.Tires are in good condition.Frame is in good condition except at the very back where the rear of the rear spring mounts are,there is some serious rust but a realitively easy fix.This truck is very road worthy the way it is,just ad some tail lights.There is a new re manufactured front driveshaft on it.and the front pinion seal and fluids are new.
