Vehicle Detail
2005 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa – the first year of the face-lifted cars with redesigned front and rear sections (recognizable by the larger “big mouth” front grille and additional heat diffusers in the back) and first year of a full flexibility in choosing interior color combination. Ferrari built 390HP at a fraction of Ferrari cost. This Maserati came nicely optioned at around $100,000 with: Cambiocorsa paddle operated, F1 style manual-automatic transmission Skyhook suspension ($2270 option) Xenon front lights ($1145) GPS Navigation ($1805) Heated front seats ($430) with memory CD changer Aluminum racing pedals (look really nice!) Custom Dual Color dash and door panels blue dials and more Sold new by Ferrari Maserati of Beverly Hills, which has also been providing a no-expense spared service and maintenance – around 50 pages of detailed dealership printouts describing the performed work are included. Of course there is no rust on this all California car. The car has one of the best color combination, timeless silver exterior with “cuoio sella” light brown leather interior, “nero” black carpets, black dash sections and black lower door panels, with “cuoio sella” stitching. Black carpets and black lower door panels/handles allow this car interior to look clean and fresh, while having the warmth of natural leather color surrounding the occupants. Shortly after purchase, a unique black piping on seat surfaces was added (at the cost of $1500) to further enhance the color combination. Adding a $1000 chrome front Gran Sport grille increased the beauty of the front of the car. The car has no noticeable dents, dings, scratches or leaks, as it has been maintained to the highest possible standard by Ferrari Maserati of Beverly Hills, including multiple wheel refinishing after any scratch ($300 each) or engine/transmission re-sealing on any noticeable oil seepage. The only noticeable cosmetic blemish is some wear on the left side of the driver seat (please see picture). This is a California collision-free Maserati which has never been subjected to rust-forming salt or northern climate. The available written records demonstrate the all important maintenance regularly performed on the car. The current mileage is around 40,980. The clutch was replaced at around 31,000. Dealership service at around 37,000 miles indicated clutch wear of 10.14%. The car should appeal to a knowledgeable buyer who understands the importance of a proper, verifiable maintenance and prefers regularly used and maintained car to hydraulic and seal problems associated with rarely driven, very low mileage vehicles. All books, User Manual, toolbox, navigation CDs and compressor are also included. As the car is also being advertised locally I reserve a right to end the auction at any time, thanks for your interest.
