Today I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota extended cab, short bed, 2WD pickup that is a one owner. I took this truck in on trade from a very good friends grandfather, and he took immaculate care of it. It is bright red with a charcoal silver bottom, fixed running boards, fender flares, new tires and a painted to match fiberglass tonneau cover. It has grey interior, ice cold air conditioning, power windows, locks, tilt, cruise control and a newer style factory chrysler radio. About a year or two ago he had a new transmission installed by a local repair shop.(who is now out of business) The truck runs and drives perfect. although when it warms up and you come to a complete stop it goes into gear hard when you start to take off again. Once your going again it shifts smoothly and accurately, no slips or misses. Cruise works perfectly and will hold at any speed. It doesnt do it every time but it does have an issue. It may be an easy fix such as a shift solenoid but im no transmission mechanic so im selling as is where is. I already gave to much on trade for this truck because of how nice and clean it is. Thats the reason I dont just fix the tranny. I just want to recoup my money if possible. Like I say it does run and drive great and i'm confident you could drive it wherever you wanted to go. But it does have an issue. That being said im interested in cash or trades for autos, boats, 4 wheelers, motorcycles, tools, tool boxes etc. Be real though i have about 2100.00 wrapped up in this baby so let me know what you think.
