Up for auction is a Beautiful, Almost All Original, 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL 2-Door hardtop in Original Wimbledon White with Red interior. Engine has been completely rebuilt and is running exceptionally strong. The Transmission was rebuilt 12k miles ago and shifts perfect.The paint and body are solid and original except for a couple minor touch ups. All chrome trim, including bumpers is in exceptional condition. The underside and engine compartments are clean, as is the trunk. Interior is great condition with crystal clear gauges and a super clean, super stylish center console. Upholstery has only three small tears, one on the upper corner seam of the drivers seat, a small quarter-inch tear on the driver’s seat back, and a one-inch tear along the back of the rear seat on the driver’s side. The headliner is in good condition with only one small tear above the driver’s seat. Purchased from the second owner with plenty of original documentation including window sticker, build sheet, owners manual, and registered owner tag.
