1970 Triumph T120 Bonneville This in an original, unrestored,classic. Except for a replacement seat cover and Boyer-Bransden electronic ignition, this is unmolested!! If I could prove it, I'd wager that at least some of the air in the original tires was from 1970. The paint, mufflers, wheels, wiring, chrome is all original. This not to say that it is perfect, but so close that it should not be "restored" -- and what does restored mean other than to return to original. It's already there. With 8216 original miles it has a paint chip or scratch, but scuffs minor enough that it should not be "tweeked" to perfection. Leave it alone and enjoy it. Pull into a crowd of Harleys and get ready for great conversation and comments. Most Harley guys started with British iron in the 60's & 70's, so they know exactly what you've got - the last great motorcycle of an era. I have owned this bike since September of 1986 - 24 years. I have enjoyed it beyond belief. It is time to part with some of my motorcycles, as I just can't ride them all.... This bike still has the original dealer's decal on the front fender- in ENGLAND. I actually wrote to the dealer and inquired about the bike and they were kind enough to respond, verifying that they did indeed sell it originally. Now you know why I say "original". The original owner was in the military and there is a parking permit sticker on the right front fork leg for the RAF !!! Look at the pictures and if you have any questions, email me.
