Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This car has been well-taken care of and is extremely fun to drive. This car has not been abused and gets amazing gas mileage. I have completely restored the front-end suspension with polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension, and the tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. It has a few dents and paint is sun-beaten. There are also a couple spots that are rusting. One right below the gas tank, and another where the door caught the driver side fender. Both could be wire brushed out and repainted. The only cosmetic issue that causes operational difficulty is the interior driver side door handle and exterior passenger door handle. The exterior passenger door handle does not work, but can be repaired relatively easily. The interior driver side door handle just needs a new fixture and clip, a very easy repair. The hard plastic part of the inlet pipe on the radiator had a very small crack in it. It was small enough that when it did leak it was only a drip every couple minutes, and it would not leak if the heater was turned on. I cold-welded the small crack very securely, its strong enough that another part of the radiator would fail before the cold-weld would go. Since the crack is from the age of the radiator, even though it still flows very well, I would recommend it be replaced by the end of next summer. But I have no doubt it will easily last until then and most likely even longer. There are several other cosmetic issues (little dents, paint chips, worn out floor mats) but nothing that affects the reliability and performance of the car. The car also comes with a lot of extra parts. All routine maintenance has been religiously performed before required intervals. The parts that have been replaced include but are not limited to:All front-end bushings and end-linksAll tie-rod ends and ball jointsUpper and Lower control arms with adjustable upper arms for the wider tires.Oil PanTransmission and clutch less than 50,000 miles ago (Official Honda MTF used) Timing and alternator belt (very recently)Wheels and tiresSpark plugs, radiator flush and refill, wiper blades, engine oil and filter all done at 206,000Fuel filterCV Joints and seals replaced.Wheel BearingsNew Battery A multitude of nuts, blots, pins, and seals while doing the other work. Specs: ’94 Honda with SOHC non-VTEC D15B motor Standard 5-speed transmissionTokico Blue front-end struts Kumho Ecsta all-season tires with 15’ Konig Incident Wheels W/ Gorilla lug locks (Extra set included) Aftermarket Ractiv intake and Hayabusa bolt-on exhaust system. Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings (entire front end and shifter installed, rear set included) Alpine system w/ Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 15’ subwoofer powered by MA Audio 1000 Watt amp. Mounted in custom enclosure built to fit under the targa top.35 MPG average, I have gotten 40 MPG easily on I-25. Extra Parts: Spare transmission with at least another 50,000 miles in it. Only problem with this was that the synchros on the 2nd and 3rd gear were just starting to wear out. I can thank Honda of Greeley for their awesome talents in diagnosing the noise coming from my car while driving was the transmission "about to go out at any time" when in fact it was a worn-out wheel bearing. Old clutch about half-life. The rest of the master set of bushings (only rear set not installed). Spare lower control arm. Many nuts, bolts, and a brand new differential seal. Brand new passenger tie-rod end. Brand new Gorilla lug locks set. Stock set of wheels with tires on them I am disappointed that I have to sell her, especially at this price for all the work into it, but I am moving near the mountains and will be living in an apartment soon. I had big plans for this car, but it is just not practical with my budget and near-future living situation. Because it is an older car, it is just a fact that it needs stuff maintained and replaced every so often, and I will have no such facility to do work at anymore. If you keep on top of the maintenance like I have, you will not have to replace anything major for another 200,000 miles. The only thing that could have been taken care of better is the cosmetic aspect of it. All of the little chips and dings it has can be repaired without taking it to a shop, it will just take some time and effort. This item is sold AS-IS and carries no warranty, express or implied
