I have decided to list my 1964 Olds. F85 for sale. This car has a clear title in my name and in my hand. This Olds. was sold new at Trenor Motors in Urbana OH. 10 miles from my house. The lady that purchased it lived in Yellow Springs OH until she passed away 2 years ago. A co-worker purchased the car off of the family and I purchased it from him. The engine is a 231 cu. in. V6 and the trans is a 2 speed Powerglide. These are original to the car and have never been removed. The engine had a complete tune up last year and it absolutely runs excellent. Please feel free to drive this car home at any distance, it is a wonderful driver. And, if your in the OH. area, the A.M. radio sounds great when on 740 or 940. They play rock-a-billy music on the weekends and it really makes for nice cruising. :-) Originally, this car was Marlin blue top and bottom. The paint was faded really bad so I had the color change done 3 weeks ago. Other then rock chips and some scale, there were no holes needing repair on the exterior. As for the interior, there was a hole under the drivers seat and a small hole pass. side rear. I removed the factory rubber floor cover and cut out the bad areas includeing one cross brace. I went to Restoration World in Huber Heights OH and purchesed new floor pan sections and a new brace. I also purchased new G.M. Bright Blue carpet. I am a Hobart certified welder so I had no problems putting in the brace and floors in. After the metal work, I undercoated the floor and put down a complete cover of HushMat. Then the new carpet, seats, belts, etc. All the guages work fine except the fuel guage never reads over full. I am not sure why but could just be a wire. The lights, wipers, heater, etc. all work fine. The horn doesnt blow and I havnt rolled down the rear quarter glasses so I dont know about that. Also, this car has Astro-Air so it is a nice summer driver. The tires are in excellent condition and the spare is original. The brakes and steering are manual and work fine. There is a small hole in the muffler. Also included with the car is all the original paper work from the dealer Trenor Motors includeing bill of sale, certificates, and other forms.
