Vehicle Detail
2000 Chrysler Town & Country LX minivan for sale by 2nd owner. We have owned this van since 2005 and bought it with 74k miles on it. This was our primary vehicle for 3 years and took us on several long trips. I now drive 70 miles daily to work and on some business trips. So the mileage is highway miles. This van is loaded with options: White exterior with tan leather interior Front and rear A/C Power everything CD/cassette with Premium Infinity Sound system Rear entertainment system with flip-down screen and remote control VCR mounted under the rear bench. It has a TV receiver (but not for HD!) and audio/video inputs so you can hook up game systems or a DVD player Luggage rack Alloy wheels Here are some items that have been worked or replaced recently: Transmission completely rebuilt under aftermarket warranty about 1.5 years ago New AC compressor spring 2009 New front/rear brake pads in April 2010 New front AC fan blower motor April 2010. I bought the motor on e-Bay and when it was put in, only 4 of the 5 speeds worked: 1,2,3 and 5. The 4th speed (next to the highest) doesn't work, but trust me, it still will blow cold without any problems! I just never worried about it since it's the vehicle I drive and it's no big deal. Here are some "nuisance" items that don't affect the mechanicals of the van: Drivers' side sunvisor works fully. The clip that the end snaps into has broken though. However, the sunvisor doesn't droop down, it stays up fully and tight. Drivers' side window is very slow to go up. It will roll down quickly, but takes a little time to go back up. Haven't had that checked. Ignition switch sticks sometimes, kind of like when the steering wheel is locked. If it happens, I just tap on the ignition switch and it frees it up. A buddy of mine that is a mechanic at Chrysler said it is a common problem he has seen and is most likely burrs on the cylinder. I may have him fix soon. Small dent on the front right fender where someone backed into us a few years back and left the scene without leaving a note! You can see it in the pics. Not a big dent, but it's there. Again, this is a very well equipped minivan. It has been very reliable transportation in the 5 years we have owned it. We really must sell it quickly!! Clear title in hand and ready to sign over! If you have any questions or would like to see specific photos, let me know. Thanks! Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.On Oct-07-10 at 05:26:12 PDT, seller added the following information: ****IF YOU USE THE BUY IT NOW FEATURE, I WILL HAVE A BRAND NEW SET OF DOUGLAS TIRES INSTALLED FOR FREE.
