Vehicle Detail

RARE! Ford F100 Custom Cab You are bidding on a 1955 Ford f-100 Custom Cab, with 42,850 miles. I have decoded the Dataplate and this truck was orginally a 239 V-8 truck with a 4-Speed Synchronized transmisson. It also came with a 3.92 rearend, this truck was rated at 113.5 hp at 3600 rpm. This truck was a special order paint code(color unknown red of somesort). It was manufactured in the Kansas City, KS plant. The truck comes with a clean Kansas title in hand and an orginal Dataplate to be remounted after the restoration is completed. This truck was purchased from a Shriners Auction. It had previously been restored once before so the engine and transmisson are long gone. It now has a GM 454 engine in it with 60,000 orginal miles. It has been gone through but not rebuilt its been sandblasted, and professionaly painted the color of the frame which is corvette torch red. It has some chrome dress up accents. The transmisson is a completely rebuilt turbo 400 with shift kit. It also has been professionaly painted frame color, and also has chrome dress up accents. It is mounted to engine sitting in a custom tubular transmisson mount. The rearend is a built up 10 bolt out of a 1970 396 Chevelle. It has not been narrowed. It has been gone through with all new parts wheel to wheel, its a 373 gear ratio. It has been done up right with TCI chrome & stainless 4 link rear suspension with chrome shocks to back up the bags. The rearend has been braced and built up to handle tons of torque for touring in turns or just launch stomping the pedal down the strip! All front end components are brand new, it has a complete TCI mustang II front end with chrome & stainless tubular control arms under it, with a disc brake set up and rack & pinon. This truck is completely bagged all the way around, with Firestone airbags. This truck when mocked up set the runningboards on the ground flat! It sits on a set SS Chevelle rallyes with centercaps and trim rings, tires are a few years old but new. Now for the frame, it has been professionally notched, boxed, welded and smoothed. It is done right to show truck quality. It has been done over a period of 3 years. This frame with components, labor and paint has over $12,000 invested in it alone, thats not including the engine, transmisson and rearend. The frame is stock size, it is very impressive, pictures do not do it justice. It has a few nicks here in there due, do moving it around and setting the bed on and off for measuring. The cab is mounted with Billet Mounts on the frame ready for paint in current condition. The firewall & engine bay have been painted frame color. The inside of the cab has been rhino-lined on the floor and completely painted frame color, ready for interior. The rest of the body parts are in real nice condtion but unlike the frame and cab they need to be preped for paint. They are in great shape not all rusted out. I have everything off of this truck accept a couple pieces of glass which would need replaced anyways and the bumpers. I'm talkin i have the grill, innerfender wells, front and rear fenders (several sets), fuel tank, doors, radiator, radiator support, guages, wipers, headlight bezels, bed, tailgate, hood, hood support and latch, and all dash components. The truck was complete when I tore it down. All parts listed are orginal except some of the fenders and running boards. I have a set of fiberglass runningboards, two fiberglassfront fenders, 1 steel front fender, two steel rear fender, and 1 fiberglass rear fender. Now here is a list of parts that I have accrued for the project. 95 mustang GT seats with consule (drivers seat power). S-10 Steering column although I was gonna use a billet Ididit column. Billet MSD distributor, Accell 8.8 300 Ferro-spliced race wires, stainless steel bolt kit from alloyboltz.com, McGaughy's porportioning valve, Lokar Performance Turbo 400 Billet electronic kick down switch, painted to match hi-flow water pump, chrome high crank mini-starter, both flame and orginal 454 valve covers, 454 powersteering pump(orginal), 454 alternator(orginal), 454 quadrajet 4v Carb(orginal), Wilk-Bilt fuse block, Chrome PRW Sportsman SFI dampner/balancer, Nu Image Billet rear differential cover (flames), Billet rain guard mount side mirrors (flames), Billet rearveiw mirror (flames), Billet timing cover, set of steel mock up headers that could be finsihed and powdercoated (cut and modded for steering), CPP brake booster, CPP mastercylider, 70 396 Chevelle driveshaft, 55 ford f-100 drive shaft (0rginal) either one would need cut down, I would recommend an aftermarket alumium one. This truck is an amazing start on what will make a awesome show truck! It just needs to be finished there has been thousands spent on it already that could be your gain with my low starting bid and no reserve auction. I believe it is a fair deal for whomever is the winner! Any questions please ask, I will try to answer best of my knowledge. Please serious bidders only! Do not bid unless you have 10 or more transactions with 100% positive feedback. If you dont meet requirements please email me before bidding. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction end.
