Vehicle Detail

"1964" Cadillac Fleetwood, 4 door, V8, all original, not rebuilt or restored!!! The luxury model of that day!!! This car sat for many years, until original owners passed away. The miles read 17k, the previous owner says they're original & that the car just sat, but there's no way to prove. This is a project for someone who wants a worthwhile easy vehicle. This vehicle starts and runs, but has been sitting so long that it needs a tiny bit of love!!!. This Fleetwood will do 80 on the freeway, smooth!!! The motor is strong and powerful, the transmission is smooth shifting!!! The exhaust manifold is broken in half & in the trunk, in case you re-use, so it's a bit loud, but not terrible. The brakes need a good adjustment, also due to sitting so long!!! The chrome is in nice condition for being almost 47 years old!!! There are absolutely no leaks!!! The body has some minor surface rust which I sanded to the best of my ability, then sprayed with rust-oleum to keep in fine condition!!! There are no dents or dings, just dry, faded, and cracking paint. Could use minor body work, not a lot, a nice sanding & paint job would be gorgeous!!! There were two very small holes which I sanded, covered metal tin & sprayed with white rust-oleum, 1 in back of trunk & 1 near front light, where im pointing. The power windows work, but the seat and power locks only work intermittently. The radio sounds excellent!!! The carpet is in great condition!!! The seats are dryer and cracking in the actual seating area, but the backs look pretty good, arm-rests are great, over all they're in pretty good condition!!! The steering wheel looks & feels very nice!!! The dash is near perfect!!! The glove box seems to fall open, the hook does'nt want to latch. The right & left front lower bumper ends (which are 2 separate pieces made of a thin chrome metal) are rotted through on bottom, so I covered them with a metal tin tape (as you see in pictures) until replaced. I always unhook the positive wire on the new battery before I turn in for the night, I noticed sometimes the interior lights will go on. Odviously this is a nice, worthwhile project for any Cadillac Lover, so im selling as-is!!! No refunds!!! It's old, but in really good condition!!! The vinyl/leather top has various small tears from the sun over the years as you see in the pictures. The original rubber mats are also in tact, look good, & in the trunk along with various other extra 64 cadillac parts that stayed with vehicle (belts, lights, etc.). I know you'll absolutely fall in love with this 64 when you see it!!! ...............Im probably overstating a lot, I just want you to know!!! I personally think this baby is awesome!!! ............................I'll be sure & try to answer any questions or post more pictures as needed every evening if possible,.................................................Thank You, and happy bidding!!!..................................MADE IN DETROIT
