Hi, up for auciton is a 1968 pro-street chevelle it is currently set-up for 1/4 mile the entire drivetrain is new never seen the street or track everything has 0 miles. This car has the best of everything and is nothing short of bad-ass, the body and frame are straight and in good shape and never wrecked, also the paint is one year old, its not a show job but it is clean the car has 0 rust. The under-side has also been cleaned and painted satin black, the car is 98% complete and does run. It will only need a few very minor things like door mirror's and one driver side drip rail moulding, and few trim pieces and a few odd's & end's all very minor stuff. This chevelle is pretty much track ready. It is streetable and does have working head-lights, tail-lights, charging system, and it is wired with a full msd ignition system w/ digital 6 box, msd coil, electric water pump, fuel pump, fan, battery is in the trunk with an on/off switch at rear, full switch panel roll-bar mounted inside car, autometer gauges, it has a alston 10 point roll-cage w/swing-out door bars it is tied to frame it will cert to 8.50 with a few additional bars, and will cert to 10.0 now it has 1 race seat and a g-force 5 point harness i think it still up to date. It also has an alston aluminum dash and door panels, custom rear panel to replace back seat, it also has nice black carpet from front to rear. As for the suspension all bushings have been replaced the front is all rebuilt with gm disc brakes, comp engeneering 3 way adjustable shocks with moroso drag springs, camaro manual steering box with alston steering colum and shaft. As for the rear it has jegs adjustable uppers with gm boxed lowers, comp engeneering 3 way adjutable shocks, drag springs, drive shaft safety loop, mini-tubbed to the stock frame rail it will clear a 29.5x10.5w with the right rim and back spacing. Well that covers the car for the most part now the motor is a 600 hp 383 stroker race prepped with a scat rotating assembly 3.75 stroke 6" i-beams kb forged pistons comp. ratio is 12.7 to 1 the heads are brodix aluminum -10 2.08 int. 1.60 exh. ported/polished and race prepped with comp cams valve springs and titanium retainers, the cam is a doug herbert solid roller .655 lift, 275 at 50 106lc with d.herbert solid roller lifters, moly push-rods, crane gold race rockers with girdle, the intake is a pro top line single plane ported and polished and matched to the heads. The valve covers are moroso fabricated. It also has a moroso 7 qt. pan with pick-up, hv oil-pump, sfi dampner and flex plate. The carb is a pro-systems 950-hp. It has an msd pro-billet distributor. It has a high torque race starter and the motor has been balanced and bluprinted and assembled using all the best ring's, bearings, gaskets, and arp hardware througout like the 12 point head stud kit plus much more this motor is extremely stout and can except nitrous. also forgot to add the block is a early gm high nickle 4bolt main that is studed and race-prepped. Now to the trans its a fully race prepped turbo 400 with alto clutches kevlar bands h/d sprag, h/d drum/hub manual valve body with a trans brake also extra capacity deep aluminum pan, safety blanket with diaper, and hurst quarter stick shifter, large front mounted twin tube style aluminum trans cooler, also the trans lines are all steel braided with -an fittings and they will never leak. The converter is a continental 8" race converter, it has a 5000 stall this is one of the best converters on the market the trans and converter are built with all the best parts and will take a beating. The rear-end is a gm 12 bolt that has been completely gone through and rebuilt, it has all strange components strange 35 spline (hy tuff) axles, light weight 35 spline spool, c-clip eliminator kit, chrome-moly yoke with aluminum caps and 1350 u-joints at the front and rear of drive shaft, also new is a steel drive shaft and rear support cover with axle tube braces (not installed) but included. Needless to say this rear-end will pretty much take anything you can throw at it and do that pass after pass nothing but the best and its good to 1000+hp, also rear gear is 4.30. The fuel system is magnafuel system starting with a pro star 500 fuel pump with -10 braided line all the way to the front and -10 braided line from the fuel cell to the pump, with a -10 billet 100 micron filter and a -8 return from the pump to the fuel cell, up front is the magnafuel 2 port regulator with a fuel pressure gauge and braided lines and an fittings to carb. The fuel cell is a 3 gallon cell and would need a nice 10-12 gallon for street duty. All fuel lines are steel braided with -an fittings. Again this is a very nice system one of the best out there this system can support 2000hp very nice. Exhaust is hedman hustler race headers with adapter plates and also has e-vac system tapped in from valve covers, very nice still new condition. Cooling system is a tru-cool aluminum radiator 31x19 3" thick with custom aluminum shroud and 16" electric fan, also electric water pump and a jaz catch can it is a very nice and clean set-up. Misc, bolt-on fiberglass cowl hood, fiberglass front and rear bumpers and front header panel, centerline auto drags 15x3.5 fronts 15x8.5 rears, the tires are in great shape like new the rear is just a 275x60x15 t/a radial like new but really a waist of time under this car lol. It also has a line lock and adjustable proportioning valve with a few good tune passes, it should go mid to low 10's on the motor and with a small system should easily get into the single digits.
