My favorite car of all time, my 1983 Audi UR Quattro. I am going to skip the historical data on the car and significance the UR had to the automotive world for the sake of all who are viewing this and know it already. I never planned on selling this, but due to injury, I am unable to further enjoy this car or both my M3’s (listing soon). My plan was to park it in the living room just because I like to look at it that much, but unfortunately I cannot do this. I love this car more than every car ever made! I purchased this car about four years ago from an enthusiast in Arizona that had taken really good care of the car. I bought it sight unseen and was very pleased. Since then, I have done very little to the car as it runs great, sounds great, and I have had no reason to modify or ruin the stock niceness it is. Currently, it has 112,465 miles on it. Car fax shows a discrepancy years prior due to the previous owner swapping out the cluster for an updated 85’ dash and failing to change the mileage, but the 112 is correct and it was years ago with a 5k difference. The car is currently registered, insured and has a clean title here in CT. I have it insured for an agreed value for over double of what the reserve is for this auction and would be happy to provide the winning bidder with the documentation so they too can do this to take care of the investment. The exterior is in excellent condition with a few blemishes here and there and some stone chipping on the front that the pictures do not really show. The drivers door has a chop under the handle area about 1/4 “ and there is a crack in the paint on the left side of the roof, probably from an acorn or whatever. I haven’t felt the need to fix any blemishes yet because the thing looks so good!!! I have updated the inherently weak firewall and installed the 034 Motorsport support brace for the clutch. The car runs, shifts, drives excellent. I have sat in traffic in the middle of Summer and it has never shown any signs of overheating ever. I rebuilt the motor, inspecting everything and using OEM parts in 2007, but it really did not even need it as there were no signs of problems. The car has been surprisingly reliable for me! Car is currently on 18” BBS Limited Edition rims that are an off silver, pewterish color and are really nice. Note that some of the rims have some curb rash on them. I will get more pictures if needed, just ask! It has adjustable coil over suspension and is not adjusted for the East Coast roads with it being so tight. I was going to raise it and put the original rims back on it, but there is no rubbing and I just haven’t felt like it yet. The front lights are new with the blue and yellow being a 3M film so the bulbs aren’t damaged when I bomb down the Merrit Parkway. Films are easily removable. It has stainless brake lines, updated calipers and rotors. The differential lock switch/gauge was removed to accommodate the oil, temp and boost gauges. The car has never seen snow so I felt no need to retain the diff lock, but the lines are all still there so if you need it, just plug it all back in. This vehicle has ZERO rust, no rotted fenders like other garbage I have seen on here! I store the car in a heated garage and have never even driven it in the rain. Has a nice Momo steering wheel, seats are in excellent condition, smoked (real not spray paint garbage) lenses, original spare tire, manual, removable sunroof works perfect and stores in slot in trunk. Custom stainless exhaust fits this car perfectly and makes the best noise I have ever heard! If the buy it now is used I will include the New In The Box Ronal 15” X 8” rims. Super rare, I have never mounted them and they are the real deal original Euro rims finished in Zermatt silver. This is the nicest UR I have seen here in the states for a long time. I think that I have set the reserve accordingly as I could never part with it for less and am not happy about doing this whole thing at all anyway.
