PLEASE VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL CAMARO. Straight, all steel body. Completely refinished in Cordovan Maroon base coat/ clear coat. This was a Corvette color in 1968. Driver's rocker panel and passenger quarter panel were replaced with metal components. The body was painted, left to cure, then wet sanded and buffed to a mirror gloss. Take a close look at the reflections on the paint in the photos. The finish is deep and rich. New White hood and deck stripes. New Black vinyl top. Harwood 6" fiberglass cowl hood. Hood has springs to hold it up and is secured by the factory latch, not a cheap pin-on hood. Front spoiler. Rear spoiler. New Rally Wheels with center caps and new trim rings. New wheelhouse moldings. New door handles and dual sport mirrors. New bumpers. Stainless trim in excellent condition. Glass is in great condition all around. Headlight and tail light bezels, and grille are original and in very good condition. Yenko emblems installed in all four positions for 1968. We thought it added a nice finishing touch to this aggressive classic. If you want to remove them, you can heat gun them off. No holes drilled. Michelin XGT H4 radial tires on the front, P205/60R15. Goodyear Eagle GT radial tires on the rear, P255/60R15. Fit, finish, and gapping on all panels is good. Black vinyl bucket seat interior. Front seats and cushions in excellent condition. Minor wear on outer rib of driver's bolster. Rear seat and cushions in excellent condition. Door panels in excellent condition. Carpet in very good condition. Headliner in excellent condition. Gauge faces clear. 160 MPH speedometer. Dash in very good shape, with 2 minor cracks on the edge. Column mounted Sun Super Tach II. AM/FM/Cassette. Water temperature and oil pressure gauges mounted under the dash. Vintage Hurst T handle, short throw shifter with reverse lockout lever. New three spoke sport steering wheel. Full set of factory seat belts. The heart of this aggressive machine is under the hood. Mid '70's 454 block. Short deck block, not a truck engine. Completely disassembled and rebuilt with less than 100 miles since completion. Cylinders were honed to clean them up- still standard bore. Crank was polished, not cut. All new rings, main bearings, rod bearings, gaskets, ARP fasteners, etc. New Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam and valve train. New double roller timing chain. New Moroso 6 quart oil pan and new oil pump. GM cast iron heads have been ported and polished. Stainless steel valves. New Holley Demon four barrel carburetor mounted on an Edelbrock Torker 2-0 twisted aluminum intake manifold. Delco- Remy HEI ignition. Hooker Competition Series 2" headers connected to Flowmaster 3" dual exhaust. Big block heater core. Power disc brakes. KRC High Power Density power steering pump. New Hayes single disc clutch. Borg- Warner T-10 four speed transmission. Ten bolt posi- traction rear differential. Note- This car is built to drive on the street, has a very low gear ratio, possibly 2.73. If you want drag racing type off-the-line torque, a higher gear will need to be installed. New springs. New shocks. Cal Trac adjustable traction bars. Undercarriage is not highly detailed, but clean and solid. With minimal preparation, you could paint the underside. Dual twelve volt batteries mounted in the trunk. This is a very nice car, at a very reasonable price. Don't let this one pass you by. Straight, all steel body. Completely refinished in Cordovan Maroon base coat/ clear coat. This was a Corvette color in 1968. Driver's rocker panel and passenger quarter panel were replaced with metal components. The body was painted, left to cure, then wet sanded and buffed to a mirror gloss. Take a close look at the reflections on the paint in the photos. The finish is deep and rich. New White hood and deck stripes. New Black vinyl top. Harwood 6" fiberglass cowl hood. Hood has springs to hold it up and is secured by the factory latch, not a cheap pin-on hood. Front spoiler. Rear spoiler. New Rally Wheels with center caps and new trim rings. New wheelhouse moldings. New door handles and dual sport mirrors. New bumpers. Stainless trim in excellent condition. Glass is in great condition all around. Headlight and tail light bezels, and grille are original and in very good condition. Yenko emblems installed in all four positions for 1968. We thought it added a nice finishing touch to this aggressive classic. If you want to remove them, you can heat gun them off. No holes drilled. Michelin XGT H4 radial tires on the front, P205/60R15. Goodyear Eagle GT radial tires on the rear, P255/60R15. Fit, finish, and gapping on all panels is good.
Black vinyl bucket seat interior. Front seats and cushions in excellent condition. Minor wear on outer rib of driver's bolster. Rear seat and cushions in excellent condition. Door panels in excellent condition. Carpet in very good condition. Headliner in excellent condition. Gauge faces clear. 160 MPH speedometer. Dash in very good shape, with 2 minor cracks on the edge. Column mounted Sun Super Tach II. AM/FM/Cassette. Water temperature and oil pressure gauges mounted under the dash. Vintage Hurst T handle, short throw shifter with reverse lockout lever. New three spoke sport steering wheel. Full set of factory seat belts.
The heart of this aggressive machine is under the hood. Mid '70's 454 block. Short deck block, not a truck engine. Completely disassembled and rebuilt with less than 100 miles since completion. Cylinders were honed to clean them up- still standard bore. Crank was polished, not cut. All new rings, main bearings, rod bearings, gaskets, ARP fasteners, etc. New Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam and valve train. New double roller timing chain. New Moroso 6 quart oil pan and new oil pump. GM cast iron heads have been ported and polished. Stainless steel valves. New Holley Demon four barrel carburetor mounted on an Edelbrock Torker 2-0 twisted aluminum intake manifold. Delco- Remy HEI ignition. Hooker Competition Series 2" headers connected to Flowmaster 3" dual exhaust. Big block heater core. Power disc brakes. KRC High Power Density power steering pump. New Hayes single disc clutch. Borg- Warner T-10 four speed transmission. Ten bolt posi- traction rear differential. Note- This car is built to drive on the street, has a very low gear ratio, possibly 2.73. If you want drag racing type off-the-line torque, a higher gear will need to be installed. New springs. New shocks. Cal Trac adjustable traction bars. Undercarriage is not highly detailed, but clean and solid. With minimal preparation, you could paint the underside. Dual twelve volt batteries mounted in the trunk.
