I have a 1985 Monte carlo ss clone. I am selling to put a down payment on Harley-Davidson. the car has a straight body with no rust(except the doors and trunk). list of some of the parts. 350 LT1 swap completely computerized fuel injected bored .040 Painless wiring harness 4l60e trans Duel exhaust(passenger side leaks) Brand new Distributor, msd blaster coil, icm 87 ss body kit, SS wheels with good tires SS interior, floor shifter, bucket seats Also have extra parts that are not installed(Eibach springs front and rear, monroe shocks front and rear, energy suspension bushing kit, posi rear, seals for the doors, ss quarter windows, ss trim, extra fender, and extra center consoles. every part I have for the car will come with it and any thing else i forgot about will as well. Now for the bad part of the car. The motor was rebuilt about 6000 miles ago and ran strong and fast, then about a week ago it started to run rough. i pulled the plugs and on cylinder 5 there was oil on the plug. compression tested the cylinder and it did hold some compression, up to 120psi.The Car does still run. my guess is that the rings are begging to wear or the valve seals are gone. You can rebuild the motor or get a new one, what ever you choose. the car is set up for a 95 lt1, fuel injected, so you can use a motor from a camaro, trans am, caprice, or corvette.
