1971 Charger 500 Matching Numbers This is a very solid car the frame rails, torque boxes,and the floor pans are very good. The car does have some rust in the top along where the quarter panel seam is on the passenger side and some small holes around the rear glass, also a small hole or two in the trunk. The rest of the body is very good as you can tell by the pictures. The car is a highly optioned car with the original matching numbers 383 4bbl. originally 2bbl. 727 trans. 8 ¾ positrac rear end air cond., p/s, am radio with a cassette player and microphone, bucket seats, console, slap stick, tinted glass, vinyl top, HD power drum brakes, power steering cruise control. Most all the trim that was removed comes with the car. The interior is in fair shape and is all there although the front seats look to have come from a 72. Also there is a partial build sheet under the rear seat. The extra tag was under the fender tag I don't know what it is. The car runs & drives however I would not drive it without first going through the brakes and checking it out good as it has not been driven in several years. This is one of the most solid chargers I have seen in quite awhile. If you are looking for a car to restore this would be an excellent choice as the bottom of the car and body are in such good shape.
