This is a 1982 Chevy short-bed 1/2-ton, V8, automatic truck. This truck does have a clear Oklahoma title and it ran when it was parked. I am selling this vehicle for a friend who has fallen on hard times. It was driven on and off the trailer, and has sat for approximately a year. The battery has gone dead. It does not have a front windshield. And we are not sure if this truck has a 305 cubic inch motor or a 350 cubic inch motor. It does NOT have the front glass. Also missing are the front and rear bumpers, and door panels. The ac-unit (or at least part of it) is in the bed of the truck, along with an additional rear differential and and extra hood. The pieces to the interior have been spray painted blue by the previous owner, and the front bench seat in this vehicle is good. Tires appear to be good along with the custom "American Racing" wheels that go with the truck. The truck appears to have been a custom-deluxe trim package. I do want to stress that the truck was moved and driven both on and off the trailer when delivery was initially taken. It has been a year since the truck has been driven or started, so it is difficult to tell the current shape of the motor and due to that fact we are selling this truck "as-is." No attempt has been made to start the truck or determine its current condition mechanically. The body appears to be straight with very little rust. The floors are solid except for one small 4" rust hole developing on the passenger side floorboard (see photo). The carburetor looks like a newer unit and it has dual exhaust which seem to be in excellent condition. The restoration was started but stalled due to finances. The hood and doors shut tight and have a very "solid" feel. This vehicle would be an awsome truck restored and has all the potential to be excellent. All of the glass (other than the missing front windshield) is good. The column is functional with a custom steering wheel. The American Racing wheels really set this truck off. And you truly can't beat the looks of an 80's Chevy short-bed truck. From any angle it is truly a stunning body design. Transportation will need to be arranged by the final buyer. I will be happy to assist in any way possible, but delivery of the vehicle will need to be the responsiblility of the buyer. And without the windshield, it seems a dismal thought to try to drive it without knowing mechanically how sound it is in this condition.
