1969 Triumph Bonneville

Here is a 1969 bonneville thats all complete and needs a new home. I have owned this bike for about six years and finish the restore that someone else had started. Both tach and speedo were rebuilt and miles were set at zero. I have put about two hundred miles on it since rebuild. I would have put more miles on it but the bike has been sitting parked for a couple years due to engine problems that I have never found time to repair. It will start but it has a motor noise. Sounds like rod bearing but not totaly sure. When I got the bike the motor was in pieces so I paid a motorcycle mechanic to put it back together with all the proper seals and gasket sets. It ran great on the few short trips I took it on, untill one day it started to knock. So I shut it down and parked it. Got it out a mouth ago and started it up (hopin the sound wasn't still there) but it was. All though it didn't seem as loud. But there is a noise. It has matching frame and motor numbers. Have clear title. Motorcycle just cleaned so spots under it are water not oil. So here I am trying to see if someone might like a project. What you see is what you get. Its not show quality but it gets good looks. There also is a defect in the paint at gas tank cap...bad gasket caused leakaged to paint. Gasket has been replaced but to late for bubbles in paint. (see pic) Lots of new parts were used. Have all receipts. Paid to much when I bought it and spent to much when I put it back together, so I know I will lose in it. But I know what there worth running and its not that much to get it there, so this bike isn't goin to be cheap. I'm putting a reserve on it because i can't give it away... but the reserve is fair.
