This vehicle was once a taxi in Boise Idaho. Cab owner bought it from I think the original owner and then only let my then husband drive it. We purchased it from her. We ran it as a taxi and then retired it after two years. The engine and trans were rebuilt before it became a taxi. It was then driven as a family car for a while and then just back and forth to work until 1994. It was last driven in 1995 when we moved to our current location. I am not sure of the mileage. The transmission shifted fine but the linkage in the gear shift didn't want to shift it into reverse without a bit of a struggle. The engine was sound when it was parked. It did leak some oil. The body was originally white before it was painted the taxi colors. The interior was completely redone but it is a weave fabric that has since split. The head liner is a dark rust color and is fine. the dash is cracked from sitting in the sun. The kids shot the windows with pellet guns (I could have shot THEM). As you can see, the paint is chipped and peeled off in places. There is a dent in the back passenger door (thanks to one of our drivers). The wheel cover is off, but there on the drivers side. It had fallen off and was under the car. ALL FOUR HUBCAPS PLUS EXTRAS. The elecric seats and windows still worked when parked. We took this car on two very long trips, and it rode like a dream. My now ex didn't want to part with it but realizes that it needs to be restored to its original glory and at his age, he will never get it done. I have told people I am going to bury him in it! This is a great project car for anyone that wants to restore a great old car. The tires will hold air long enough to load it onto a trailer. We have the title and lots of keys for it. I think 3 sets. Like I said, we have extra hup caps for it. (If you purchase it, remind us that they are in the shop). UPDATE: My husband and I got in and worked on the car today. THE ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT COMPLETELY START. ALL POWER WINDOWS WORK AND ROLL UP AND DOWN. HEADLIGHTS WORK BREAKLIGHTS WORK TAIL LIGHTS WORK HORN WORKS (MODIFIED) GAS GUAGE WORKS RADIO: UNKNOWN, ANTENAE IS BROKEN RADIATOR IS HOLDING WATER SO FAR HEATER FAN WORKS OIL LIGHT WORKS BAD: STEERING CABLE? BROKEN. MY HUSBAND MOVED IT BY TURNING THE TIRES. GEAR SHIFT IS LOOSE. HEAD LINER AND VISORS ARE IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE. NEEDS POINTS AND PLUGS AND IT WILL PROBABLY RUN. CAN PROBABLY BE HAULED ON A DOLLY IF THERE ARE TIRES PUT ON THE BACK.
