2001 Mitsubishi Galant V6 ES Up for auction is a recently purchased 2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES. I purchased this vehicle as a secondary means of transportation for my nanny from a dealer on Ebay. This weekend I found out her husband purchased a car for her. So I am reselling this vehicle. Upon purchase of the vehicle, it began to stall and had some shifting issues. I took it to Mitsubishi dealer where I requested a computer diagnosis of any major mechanical issues related to the vehicle. After connecting it to the computer, the dealer stated it had 2 problem codes. The first was a bad sensor it the electronic shifting transmission. The second were the oxygen sensors were kicking on the check engine light because they were aftermarket although they were brand new sensors. Dealer explained the oxygen sensors were fine and new but since they were not original they triggered the check engine light. I paid $431 for the repair of the shifting sensor on the vehicle and it is now running and not stalling (see attached receipt). I have driven it for approximately 400 miles without any issue except for the "hard shift" when going into 3rd. This vehicle is approximately 9 years old and has over 160K in miles but on a V6 engine so you should be able to get some more life out of it but it is being sold as is and with a notation of a hard shift into 3rd gear even after repair at dealership.
