1974 Eldorado Convertible, approx 90,000 miles. Not a show car, but very nice dependable, driver, cruise in car. I would drive this car anywhere, willing to drive up to 250 miles to meet winning bidder half way, to save you shipping dollars. Both drive axles and boots replaced just over a year ago. New in the last 12 months, Four Tires, American Classics 1.6" wide whites, 235 X 75 X 15. New Brakes rotors, pads, shoes, drums. All wheel Bearings. New Alpine 200 watt stereo CD with four new speakers, New Power Antennea. New Old Stock Clock keeps perfect time. Thermometer on drives mirror accurate within two or three degrees. All new steering componants. tie rods, Idler Arm, Pitman arm, Stabilizer link, and the front end shock absorber, and four new ball joints. June 2010 rust free Oklahoma body had all chrome and body fillers removed, lightly sanded for paint, Then she was painted white, the original color. All chrome was cleaned and polished then carefully reinstalled. New old stock hood ornamet was installed. New correct pin strips were then applied. Right outside mirror glass was updated to "objects are closer than they appear" for safety. All new window felts, A pillar and trunk seal. Could use door seals. New large capacity aluminum radiator installed about 24 months ago. Top needs help to go up. Goes down fine. Glass back window. 8" cut on driver side. Runs and drives great, at idle is a little uneven, may need carb adjusted or replaced. 36 year old leather seats (from a 74 Eldo Hardtop) are in excellant condition. Both are power both work. No cracks in dash. Cruise and a/c do not work. She needs some tlc, but nothing needs done to drive and enjoy. This is a no reserve auction, bid to own!
