Vehicle Detail
This is a hard to find short bed, fleet side, custom 10. Two tone paint. This truck was restored about 10 years ago and about 6k miles on it since. I have been using it as a daily driver and it runs and drives great. I can cruise down the highway at 65-70 mph and it has great throttle response. Just a really good daily driver. Very simple and easy to work on. Heres some details on the truck- -Interior Interior has been all redone New seat upholstery, dash pad, dash bezel, gauge lense, radio, door panels, steering wheel, glove box, carpet and weather stripping -Engine/Transmission/Rear End Engine/Transmission were redone about 6k miles ago. It has a 350/350 combo. Runs and drives great. All fluids changed in the engine, trans, and rear end. New high torque mini starter, alternator, battery cables, optima battery, voltage regulator and HEI ignition. New dual exhaust all the way back. Sounds mean. -Paint/Body/Trim The paint and body were done about 10 years ago. Still looks good for a daily driver and gets tons of compliments every day. It is starting to show some wear. Chips here and there as well as some minor bubbles coming through the fenders and bottom of the doors. Bed is solid. Around the windows, cab corners, rockers, and floors are solid. All new weather stripping, grille, emblems, bezels etc. -Chassis Very clean underneath. Bed was taking off and everything cleaned and painted. New fuel tank and sender. Lowered in the front and rear about a 2/3 drop. Sits even. Wheels and tires are in good shape. Has about 40% rubber left on the tires. I wanted to put rallys on eventually. Overall a nice daily driver. Its not a magazine truck but, is decent enough for local shows. Keep in mind this is a 41 year old truck and the restoration was done about 10 years ago. You are welcome to come check it out in person and drive it. I have a very good shipper lined up and can have it shipped anywhere in the 48 states for under $1000. On Sep-27-10 at 19:06:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention one thing. When I had the dual exhaust installed they removed the parking brake cables and never reinstalled them. I never use the parking brake on any of my cars so it just slipped my mind.
