This is a 1947 Willys CJ2A that I purchased from a gentleman who was in the process of doing a restoration and was unable to complete it .The engine has been completely rebuilt and runs excellent . He started it using a temporary fuel tank and wiring. It ran for 15 minutes with no problems. The transmission and transfer case are partially dismantled and cleaned. I do have a complete working transmission and transfer case that are both complete and could be used if someone did not want to take the time to put the other one back together that will be included with the purchase of the Jeep.The frame is in perfect shape and has been sandblasted and painted. He told me both axels had been cleaned and rebuilt as well as painted and the brakes were done as well. The body tub has had some body work done on it and appears to be a very nice job smooth and straight. The fenders are very solid but will need some attention before painting. The grille is real nice .All of the seat frames are perfect shape including the rear seat a fairly rare find but will need to be recovered. It has a CJ3A windshield frame that is in nice condition the rest of parts appear to be original to the Jeep . It will need a new wiring harness but the starter generator and all electrical components are still 6 volt. At this point the body tub is setting on the frame and I would bolt it together if anyone wanted it shipped.I gathered all the parts together that came with the Jeep and would say it is at least 95% complete. The Jeep has always been in dry storage since the restoration was started.I am willing to assist with shipping and can deliver in the NewEngland area for an additional fee.
