Buying an ATV online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures. In my auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. However, if you are unable to do so I guarantee your happiness, with this: If you win, get here and find that I have misrepresented it in any way you can walk away without paying a dime and with no fear of bad feedback. If you were considering a new 450r please give this one a look. It is truly in like new, all original condition. ATV: This ATV is a 2008 Honda TRX450ER Special Edition. If you are unfamiliar, the 450R is one bad machine. These ATVs were introduced in 2004 and were only slightly changed for 2005. In 2006 they were completely redesigned and given the most crucial of updates, electric start. They were largely unchanged from 2007 up. They are a 4-stroke, liquid cooled, 5 speed, manual clutched sport/race ATVs featuring reservoired – fully- adjustable shocks, dual piston brake calipers, and a race-ready attitude right off the showroom floor. If you have not had the pleasure of riding one you have missed out. They handle like a dream, and are bad fast. These ATVs are not for beginners. If you are just starting out a 400EX would be a much better choice. In addition this one is a Special edition (SE) model. With the Special Edition you get what I think is the best looking 450R ever produced with a black frame, black plastics and blue flame graphics from Honda. Condition: First of all let me say that it is hard to find a used 450 Sport ATV that hasn’t been abused. They are traditionally owned by young people and are ridden hard and/or raced. This one is the exception to that rule. It is in truly like-new, low-hour, unabused condition. This machine is not a racer and is completely stock. Mechanically this ATV is perfect. It fires as soon as you touch the button and runs perfectly. It does not smoke, leak or have any other issues. Cosmetically it is a solid 9.99 out of 10. It has no broken plastic or dented/bent/damaged components. It may have a tiny scuff somewhere on the fenders but you’ll have to look long and hard to find it. Otherwise it literally looks brand new. The rims are all perfect and the stock tires still have around 95% of the original tread left. There are no plugs in the tires. The transmission, brakes and lights all function perfectly as well. In addition there are no sloppy suspension components. The a-arm bushings, axle bearings, tie-rod ends, ball joints etc. are all nice and tight, indicating minimal and light use. This ATV even looks new from underneath. The bottom of the frame, a-arms, and swing arm show no wear at all. This is as clean and nice as you will ever find a used TRX450. There is no way this ATV could have more than 10 hours on it. The only way you will find a nicer one is to buy it out of the crate. So overall you are getting a great machine in amazing condition at a fraction of new cost. No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, I am located in Sadieville, Kentucky (40370). We are right off Interstate 75, 25 miles North of Lexington KY and 60 South of Cincinnati, OH. I am willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. Kentucky residents will be required to pay 6% state sales tax on top of the final bid amount. We do not collect sales tax from out of state bidders and there are no other fees of any kind. I don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. I will not sell it off eBay so there is no need to ask. This ATV originally sold new in a state that does not title ATVs (many don’t) so it does not have one. Some states (Ohio and Indiana for example) will make you a title for it with a bill of sale, which we will provide. Kentucky and many others like VI, SC, NC, NY, NJ, MS, MN, and GA to name a few, don’t require titles for ATVs. I will also provide the new owner with a professional bill of sale and I guarantee it to be free of liens.
