Up for auction is my 92 Dodge Ram d250. It is hard to believe this truck has over 550,000 miles on it! Its just a testiment of how well these cummins engines hold up. The guy I bought the truck from told me the previous owner used this truck to deliver seafood from oregon to north or south carolina, cant remember for sure. I will start out by listing the good things about the truck: The r12 air conditioner still blows Ice cold air, The transmission feels like it has a shift kit with upgraded torque convertor, power windows and power locks work good, doors open and close smoothly, drives nice going down the road, has plenty of power, engine has no excessive blow by, engine starts at the bump of the key. with the exception of the cab roof I found no rust anywhere else on the bed rockers etc. matching carpeted leer fiberglass cap Now the bad the injection pump needs a "O" ring, it leaks a little at idle "have been driving with it leaking for over a year now, no problems still gets around 20 mpg. the cruise control doesent work, the roof has pretty bad dodge roof rot syndrome, which can be fixed with fiberglass for a cheap fix. the front bumper grill and fender are damaged as seen in the pictures, the carpet is stained and the headliner is coming down. The tires will need to be replaced soon.I have owned this truck for a year and the only thing I did was turn the rear drums and replace the brake shoes. I have tried to include all the major faults this truck has. Keep in mind the mileage and the age of this truck, there is no warranty what so ever. This vehicle is being re-listed because of a non paying bidder. Please do not bid unless you have intentions of following through.
