PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING!! Here we have a super nice, Well maintained W123 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel. This is one of the cleanest unrestored 25 year old cars I have ever seen. This car passed the very stringent West Virginia state inspection last month with no problems and is currently registered and insured and driven daily. The body and paint are in decent shape. It has dings,pings and normal wear, but the car still looks pretty nice as the pix show. There have been some body repairs and repainting in the past. The interior is in super nice shape with no rips, tears or burns and only minor wear and tear. The dash pad has heat cracking. This is common on W123 cars. The engine in this car runs great!! Starts up the first time, every time with no strange sounds or excessive smoke. I have had all the maintenance done by professionals since I have owned it and the oil changed every 2000 miles with Shell Rotella. Currently it needs nothing mechanically. The car runs and drives like a classic Benz should. The 4 speed automatic shifts smoothly and was serviced last summer. The front tires have less than 2000 miles since replacement. Rear tires should be replaced soon. If bidding reaches $1800.00 I will have two brand new tires installed at my cost before pickup. The brakes front and rear were replaced 2000 miles ago with high end parts and the fluid flushed and changed. The parking brake cable was also replaced at that time. All accessories work properly except the drivers rear window which needs a switch, and the A/C which probably needs charged. Also the central locking has not worked since I have owned the car. There is a high end Blaupunkt head unit with a 10 disk CD changer mounted in the trunk. The display does not light up on the radio but it works in every other way and sounds good. The original Becker cassette player is included with sale. Summary: Although this Benz has a lot of miles, it has been taken care of and has a LOT of life left ! It looks nice and runs GREAT ! Mercedes diesels have been known to run for 500000 to 750000 miles before needing engine work. This is a super dependable classic that you could drive everyday. I have driven this car on several 500 mile trips with no problems whatsoever and terrific fuel economy. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere!
