This is a very nice 1981 all originally restored VW Pickup Diesel. It has a 1.6 diezel engine with only 40,000 miles on a certified re-manufactured long block from VW Canada. It has a 5 speed transmission and ice-cold air conditioning converted to 134. It has been painted with a 1995 VW beige base coat clear coat. Upgraded Passat radio and auto-dimming rear-view mirror with outside temperature and compass display. It has a fiberglass cap colour matched and a VW bedlinner. Fuel injectors have been rebuilt and a new injection pump has been installed along with new fuel lines. Everything works and is in great condition. Interior is original and in great condition, no tears or holes with a new headlinner. This has been my hobby for the last 15 years and has been completely rebuilt. This pickup is in Canada about 25 miles from the Michigan border in the Detroit Michigan area. I can bring the pickup to Detroit if required but purchaser will have to look after customs requirement. This pickup was built in the USA and I have the original paperwork. The pickup is for sale locally and I have reserved the right to end this auction any time.
