1986 Honda Rebel

Yes less then 250...the story you ask? ....well I'll tell you...bought it from a lady who was the original owner back in 86, drove it for aprox 250 miles, almost got smacked sittin at a red light, got scared and drove it home, parked it in her barn, covered it and never rode it again. I bought it, changed the oil, new plugs, cleaned carbs, and it runs great. Don't know if they are the original tires but they show no signs of age, not a crack to be found. It's in nice shape but there are some corrosion issues on the engine block mostly and the hub of the front wheel and some of the spokes all of which could be cleaned up if you have the time, the rear wheel looks good. The chrome and paint are in nice shape compared to the alloy metals on the engine. Pipes look great, almost like new and like I said most of the chrome parts look great except for the top of the battery box and a few other chrome parts but overall looks nice. Paint looks nice with no scratches to speak of. No mechanical issue at all runs and shifts correct. These are great beginner bikes and are becoming increasingly hard to find, this one obviously has a long way to go with only 250 miles. All rubber parts and seal are in great shape with no leaks of any kind. Dispite the issues mentioned overall it's still a very nice looking bike. $500 down at auction's end with balance due within seven days. Good luck!
