Up for auction is a 1970 c10 stepside with a strong quiet 250 inline 6 and a manual 3 spd tranny. Manual steering, manual brakes. Recent rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new pickup screen and a new 3 spd on the floor conversion as the truck was originally 3 on the column. As far as i know truck has always been in NC. I have a clear NC title in my name. The truck has rust in the usual areas and would need a restoration to be a perfect truck. It's solid and great as a cruiser as it is. The cab corners have body filler but do not appear to be real bad. rockers have been replaced but could use a little cleaning up. There is a small amount of rust on the driver lower fender and passenger rear door. The cab mounts seem solid though the braces the run up towards the rocker have some rust through. This is a great truck and well worth restoring. Please keep in mind I am listing this as a project so there is no confusion. A few other things worth mentioning the inline 6 has been upgraded to an electronic distributor. It also has 5 lug all the way around and disc brakes on the front. I bought the truck to play with but decided I really cannot afford at this time as we are remodeling our house. With that being said I am pretty much going to make the truck sell this week.
