DESCRIPTION 1973 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE Vin number "6L67S3Q409702", 500 cid engine, 89,200 original miles. It is in nice original condition for it's age with no modifications. Motor and tranny are good and strong, engine could use a good tune up and carb possibly cleaned from sitting. It has been sitting for a few years but I just drove the car and the engine is running fine, the tranny shifts fine and all the lights and brakes are working fine! It is loaded with all power options (AC, steering, brakes, windows, locks, seats) and all were working fine when the car was laid up. It has a new AC compressor, fuel pump, alternator,distributor, wires, front break rotors and hoses, rear break drums, master cylinder and the carb was rebuilt but probably needs a cleaning from sitting a few years. The body is nice and solid with no rot or dents but there are a few areas of surface rust. The frame is solid, the inner and outer rocker panels are solid, the floor pans are good and solid with a little rot through along the edges toward the rockers but can be easily patched without doing full floor pans. The power top was working fine when the car was laid up. The car is mechanicaly sound and basicaly needs cosmetics, a top, interior and paint. It is 99% complete, basically just missing a few pieces of side trim and the headlight bezels. 10% deposit is required at end of the auction, balance is due when the car is picked up by the buyer or his agent. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction end. Pick up, delivery or shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, we do not deliver!
