And You have here an Amazing Example that is Suitable for the Most Discriminating Collector Bodywork/chrome: Tank is near flawless, no dents, small chip toward seat area, NOS cap, excellent inside with good rebuilt petcock (works smoothly and no leaks). Has been professionally relacquered and is shiny, smooth and beautiful. The red color is a virtual match to the original Honda red (on the orange side of red). Small chip area on flair of rear fender. Side covers perfect with original hardware, no breaks or cracks. Speedo face is excellent. Handle bars and controls are excellent. Seat has been recovered and is in very nice condition. There is some pitting of the chrome on the wheels and the rear shocks, however most of the chrome is excellent and looks great. The mufflers are aftermarket and are in excellent condition. A set of original mufflers can be included, however they will need repair and replating. They are straight and look good mounted, however they have holes on the lower areas of the trailing edges. The bike has both the center and side stands. The bike is complete and rides very nicely. Mechanical: Both electric start and kick start work perfectly. The bike starts very easily with choke, idles perfectly from the first start and runs like the day it was new. Very strong, smooth, quiet and no smoke whatsoever. The clutch is free and smooth and the transmission shifts perfectly with that positive Honda click going into each of the four gears. All lights work as they should, including high beam, brake and tail lights. Horn does not work. No leakage. Tires are whitewalls and show some age checking, however the tread is good. I have driven this bike around town on Sunday afternoons and it never fails to draw a crowd where ever I go. In a field of classics, this classic stands out. It is not perfect as I’ve described above, it is 44 years old. It is however very classy, very beautiful and is an awesome motorcycle that is an absolute blast to ride! This bike is being sold as is, no warranty. Please keep in mind that it is over 40 years old! I find it difficult to believe that any Honda Collector would not LOVE this bike!
