I bought this truck to tow my race car. It has done a great job. I am moving to Pittsburgh for Diesel school and it has to go. It is currently inspected until August of next year. 4x4 works, new starter, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new brake lines. Runs great, starts well, and has great power. It has a 3" stainless cat back exhaust and super turbo muffler. I have a brand new factory muffler if you don't like it. Its not loud at all, but you can tell its a V8. The 5.8L Windsor motor and C6 transmission are a strong proven drivetrain. It has a factory 8000 lb towing bumper on it. It towed my 3500 lb car without a struggle and didn't get terrible fuel mileage doing it. It got about 13 mpg towing. It also has a nice bed cover. Has power windows, power locks, cruise control and is very comfortable. The rear seats provide decent room. Smooth ride too, it truly is a country Cadillac. Heat works well. The bad: The paint isn't in the greatest shape. The clearcoat is missing in many places, there is a good bit of surface rust on the front fender. There is a rust hole at the bottom of the cab behind the doors on both sides. The gear indicator does not work. Air conditioning system may leak, it is empty, but the pump does work. There is an exhaust leak at the motor on the passenger side, its not terrible but noticeable. Feel free to ask any questions.
