You are looking at my 1956 BMW Isetta 300 Bubble Car. I purchased this about 7 years ago from a guy in Florida. He had the motor rebuilt I believe at Isettas-r-us in Georgia before I purchased it. I have driven it less than a few hundred miles since I have owned. It has been kept indoors. Pictures looks like its red but it is in fact orange. It has fresh paint and I was in the process of going to put everything back to original on it but I dont have the time to finish it up. It needs interior panels which cost around $600 to buy which are made from a pressed cardboard, original shift knob, heater/defrost assembly and an outside mirror to complete to an original state. Also the wing window on passenger side is made of plexi but you cant tell unless you tap it. I didnt notice it for a longtime myself. Very minor details considering how hard it is to find some parts for these. There are minor scratches on rear glass too but you have to look up close to see. The guy who i bought this from had put solar fans in the door and I had them removed and car painted by a professional body shop last year. I removed exterior mirror he had put on it too as it was not original. I have a few extra parts pictured as well that goes with it which include new luggage rack, new floor mat, tow bar and gas shut off lever. She runs great and if anyone wants to come inspect you are welcome you just have to make an appointment to see near downtown Tulsa Oklahoma.
