If you are looking at this auction you probably know something about this bike. The XR400 has been one of the most rock solid motorcycles Honda ever built - simple, easy to operate and bulletproof. This motorcycle has seen little use as you can see from the photos. The knobs on the tire are the originals. It has always been garage-kept. I had 11 bikes and seldom rode this one. There is one decal scratch on the right side tank plastic from my riding pants. That's it! No problems. None. Period. This bike has a Baja kit installed and is street legal and licensed in Washington state. It was also street licensed in Arizona. I installed a different rear fender with the Baja kit (and 'casue it looks cool) but you can see the original fender is included in perfect condition. There is also a Performance speedometer installed (activated by the magnet on the spokes). I am the only owner and am the only person who ever rode the bike so I know its condition. If you are looking for a dual purpose bike, this is the best you will find. It is untouched, no welding, cutting, grinding or any modifications whatsoever. This model is somewhat lower at the seat than the CR450X or R models that sit so high (I had an X so I know). I have purchased a herd of bikes on Ebay and always wonder why they are being sold. To save the messages, in this case, I moved from the Utah-Arizona border to far western Washington State and the ideal riding areas and weather conditions in southern Utah and Arizona do not exist here. This XR400 deserves better than to be sitting in the garage (on a lift off the tires, I might add). Having three bikes in the garage while sitting and waiting for the rain to stop doesn't make much sense. Shipping is on you. I will help in any way I can but it's on you.
