This is a much loved 2002 Suzuki TL1000R That has been garage kept its entire life. Never really raced (track), this is a mountain roads bike. ALL SERVICE RECORDS INCLUDED. Owners manual and full service manual included. I bought the motorcycle in May '03 when it had around 2700 miles on it (just barely broken in by a older gentleman) when he traded it in on a motorcycle with less aggressive tendencies. I have enjoyed this motorcycle immensely since purchased and have maintained it at "better than factory" condition. I have replaced the factory suspension with Ohlins race suspension, for a much better ride. Fairing has almost non-noticeable crack in upper right fairing near mirror. All relevant service work has been performed up to date, including the valve adjustment and a new chain and sprockets at 12,500 miles. This baby is a torque beast, as she has around 148 horsepower (factory, more now surely) and 98 Ft Lbs of Torque, all on a well planted sturdy frame with an updated lightweight suspension (this helped side to side alot) and nice n sticky tires. The motor is just now good and seasoned, and has had Mobil 1 in it since the day I got it, getting changed every 3k, or every spring. I just have gotten them broken in and shrunk the chickens strips down to nothing - they are wonderful sport tires that handle great in all weather and only take 45 seconds to a minute or so to warm up. I'll put Metzeler Sportecs on my next bike. These cost about $430 to put on this spring. I do all my own services, except valve adjustments. I know how long these tires last, because I've had 5 or 6 back tires on it, and 2 or 3 front tires - every one of them Metzeler's - thats how I know theyr'e good on the bike. I think the front tire still has nubbies near the edges and the back JUST worn through the new tire nubbies near the edge. Gloves are so new I still have packaging (worn maybe 10 times) and size XXL, and jacket is size XL and comes with its removable inner liner. Jacket is clean (never taken a hit, it does have some high speed bugs) and fresh (not stinky or faded), with two Deals gap patches sewn on.
