Trusted Power Seller with 100% feedback! Please see my outher auction for an incredibly original 1970 LS4 Caprice. After nearly a 10 year love affair I am finally ready to say goodbye to this beautiful 1972 Impala. I bought this one owner Big Block from the original owners wearing its original faded paint and mint original interior with only 74k showing on the clock. I have ALL the documentation from when the car sold new, including the Pre-Delivery Inspection Sheet, Protect-O-Plate, Consumer Warranty Information, Owners Manual, Original title sleeve and the Original Keys. I even have an original Washington license plate! I have all the service records dating back to the 70’s for this vehicle. It is virtually impossible to find a car with this much documentation and original owner history! Rich Pedigree like this makes your classic car a great investment. Why throw your hard earned money at a clone car when you can have the real deal. This car sold new on July 14th, 1972 at Alcona Motors Inc. in Lincoln, Michigan. Less than a week later the proud new owners loaded up the trunk and moved to Washington State where the car has spent it entire life garaged. (Check out that vintage departure photo taken in 1972 and a current picture of the original owner too!) Prior to leaving Michigan the car was treated with Zybart, thereby ensuring this car would never have rust issues, which it never has. It is totally, and I mean totally rust free! If I have any say in the matter, this car will never be bastardized by the lowrider crowd or butchered by the Donk goons. Shiny things that sparkle are for women and kittens. This is a true one of a kind, unmolested, original, Air Conditioned Big Block car that deserves continued adult ownership. Over the last ten years I have put 22k trouble free miles on her while collecting very hard to find, one year only, N.O.S. parts. Two years ago I had the car stripped and painted to its original and desirable Sequoia Green. The flawless interior was left alone with the exception of a carpet kit. The original vinyl top was cleaned and re-dyed to its original lighter green hue due to they no longer make this color vinyl top. If I had it to do over I would spend the extra $400 and install a new white vinyl top and subsequently dye it green, as the original top is starting to show some wear. Dash pad has one teency weency crack where the perforations for the factory speaker is. Speaking of which, the original 10ohm speaker no longer works. The car is equipped with the following options: *402 Big Block *TH400 *Air Conditioning *Power Disc Brakes *Power Steering *Remote Trunk Release *AM/FM radio *Vanity Mirror *Electric clock *Door edge guards *Tinted windows (All) The car is show quality. I spent $6,200 in paint and body alone. The panels on this car are straighter than an Amish elder. The front bumper cost me over $600 to re-chrome and it is gorgeous! I’ve spent a ton of money on N.O.S. parts too, including, Upper grill bar, Bow Tie header emblem, Chevrolet grill script, Headlight bezels, Park lamp lens’ Wheel well molding, Turn signal lens’ Exterior body trim, Bumper Guards, Vertical seals and Door Edge Guards. The original owner said the car looks better than when it was new and I believe her. Four years ago this car was appraised @ $8,761 and that was BEFORE I had it painted, so bid accordingly! However, be advised the reserve on this car is less than $10k!! All the bells and whistles on this car work, literally. The ignition key buzzer and both the driver and passenger seat belt warning buzzers still work. This car drives true and straight. No wind noise, no vibrations, no knocks, pings or rattles, just peer driving pleasure. She floats down the freeway at 80+mph without effort. The TH400 was recently serviced and a shift kit was installed, so the full throttle sifts are true and crisp. This car is worthy to drive anywhere across the U.S. right here, right now. Clear title in hand. I am a very picky private party who only buys above average, hard to find, 1 or 2 owner vehicles, so rest assured you are bidding on a nice Chevrolet. Decoding the VIN# you will see the letter S in the fifth position. This denotes the LS3 402 BB engine. All #‘s match. I installed 454 emblems on the car in lieu of the 400 emblems that were installed at the factory. LS3 cars had 400 emblems on them, that doesn’t work for me. I wanted everyone to know this is a factory Big Block car. If you have any questions please ask. With the exception of the water pump, everything under the hood is original to the car, including the working Air Injection Reactor smog system. The original Q-Jet carb was also recently rebuilt. The A/C compressor will also need rebuilt. The interior is all factory, sans carpet and the original spare tire is still in the trunk. The PO2 Corvette wheel covers pictured on the car are not included. The car will be delivered with the original wheels covers seen in the 1972 vintage photo. Shipping is 100% the buyers responsibility, although I will assist in every way. The car is permanently stored indoors and I will continue to due so (for two weeks) after your purchase until it can be picked up. I highly suggest you transport this vehicle in an enclosed hauler. Zero feedback bidders are prohibited from bidding. If you bid, your bid will be cancelled. I do not reply to inquires on the reserve. The car will sell for less than $10k. You know your spending limit, so bid within it. No Trades Please. $500 Pay Pal deposit is due within 48hrs. Full balance is due within 10 days. Thank you.
