1997 Dodge Viper GTS Great car in fantastic shape meticulously owned and maintained. Only reason for selling is that the owner purchased a Ferrari and does not have indoor storage available for both cars. Beautiful Viper Red Paint is original with the exception of the white racing stripes. The nose has been refinished due to rock chips that are inherent with a car with such a low profile. Interior in great shape, just some slight wear in the driver’s seat. (see pics). Mechanically excellent. Always properly maintained. Everything operates correctly. The 8 liter engine runs flawlessly and the 6- speed transmission shifts smoothly and clutch operation is smooth with no slipping or chatter. Engine has been updated with K & N air filter, High flow catalytic converters, 3” custom exhaust and Magnaflow tips. Sounds absolutely awesome! Car runs cool even in our hot, humid Florida heat. A/C blows ice cold. Super sound system with extra amp mounted in the trunk area. AUTOCHECK NOTE - The mileage discrepancy shown in the Autocheck report is due an incorrect entry. The mileage entered in 2000 of 72260 was mistyped. This has been corrected by DMV however these corrections do not show up on autocheck reports. (Carfax notes the error). The current owner purchased the car from the previous owner at 54580 miles and that is documented on his clear Florida title as actual. Car is available for inspection during the auction period with advanced appointment. I received so many emails last time about the reserve. I have decided to relist it with the minimum amount it takes to purchase the car. Winning bidder will be expected to submit a $2500 deposit within three (3) days of the auction's end. The balance will be due within seven (7) days of the auction's end. Payment may be made by cash in person, wire transfer, or Certified bank check drawn from a major US bank. Please keep in mind payments made by bank check may take up to 14 days to clear. Car will not leave my possession until funds have cleared to myself and my bank's satisfaction. However all title and paperwork will be processed under my dealership. Therefore Florida residents will have to pay sales tax and registration fees based on the county in which they reside. Out of state buyers taking possession in Florida will pay sales tax based on the rate in their home state. Out of state buyers that have their car shipped to them are responsible for paying sales tax in their home state. I DO NOT CHARGE A DEALER FEE.
