Up for auction is a very clean 1956 Chevy belair 2 dr. Hard Top. Power disc brakes and power steering, the front suspension is original. The rearend is also an original posi. The motor and trans. are not the original ones. The motor and transmission are from a 1970 Camaro, the motor starts right up and idles smooth the trans. shifts great. The exaust is very sound from front to rear. The brakes and balll joints have been replaced, the battery, fuel pump, belts and hoses have been replaced. The tires look good, but they have been on the car for 20 + years. The car had been in dry storage since 1993, just got it out and running and driving in the past couple of months. All guages work, the lights, turnsignals and horn work. The original radio is in the trunk. The chrome is in very good condition, the bumpers look better in the pictures than they really are. The interior is neat and clean, the headliner as well. The glass is clear with no cracks, the rear quarter glasses both have bubbles around the edges. The window seals have been replaced. The doors open and close like they should. The trunk floor and spare tire well are solid, the body mounts and floor braces are solid, the floor has been pached in a couple of places at some point. The paint is not original, there are some chipped places on the repaint here and there, looks to have been repainted quite a few years ago.
