This little Ford Escort SE hatchback wagon has been an excellent car for us. Currently it is getting 130+ PSI compression on 1,2,and 4 cylinders, but only getting 10 PSI on number 3. It appears to be a head or head gasket issue, as it still runs, and we drove it onto the tow truck. We had the A/C charged and it is cooling down to 38 degrees. Everything works well on this car and it would be an excellent car for someone who has the time or can afford a mechanic to fix this problem. It has an automatic FWD transmission, AM/FM sterio with factory speakers (4), and a hatchback and luggage rack. It only has one dent on the driver's side rear quarter panel (pictured). This car gets 42 MPG on the highway and i really wish that I personally had the time or money to get it back on the road. It has a full tank of gas in it, and we have put Stabil in it as well as some blue ethanol treatment. It has been off of the road for a little over 2 weeks now.
