Up for sale is a 1977 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4. It has a 318 with an Edelbrock 4-bbl and dual exhaust followed by an A-727 automatic transmission. Engine runs strong and was completely rebuilt approximately 40,000 miles ago for increased low-end torque and fuel mileage. OEM full-time transfer case (NP-203) was replaced with a part-time unit (NP-208) for increased fuel mileage. Front bucket seats and console were replaced with a cloth split-back bench seat. Original removeable rear seat has a saddleblanket seat cover. Entire interior floor is full vinyl - for easy cleaning. Rear bumper has a receiver hitch and the vehicle is wired for trailer towing (6-pin connector) - the trailer brake controller is included. Highway M&S tires (235-15) are 60%. The running gear is good to very good. The body is in good shape for a 33 year-old vehicle; however, it has its share of character marks. I have taken photographs of the rust problems common to Dodge trucks of this vintage as well as it's dents and dings. The top (roof) is removable, though I have never taken it off as there is no roll bar or shoulder belts. This vehicle is presently a daily driver, but with the 3.92:1 gears it would make a great towing rig for camping, hunting, fishing, or exploration. NADA shows a value of $3925.
