Vehicle Detail

This is an all original 1977 Pontiac Ventura in great condition for the age. This car was garaged since new. I am the second owner. It was owned by the same lady since new until she became too old to drive. The car was always taken care of. Maintenance is all up to date. The engine is ridiculously smooth and strong! This is when cars were simpler and it is a joy to drive. The car could use a restoration to bring it back to completely original shape. There is usual rust in the areas of the wheel wells and bottom of the quarter panels but nothing that could not be fixed. The option list is short. AM radio, heat and bench seating but of course 305 V8 engine. But that is what I like about it simple, understated, powerful! Anyone can fix this car very easily. Under the hood there is nothing complicated and parts are inexpensive. The dashboard is beautiful with no cracks. The headliner as well is excellent. If someone was so inclined they could restore this car very easily or even turn the car into a hot rod. I am a purist and I like original condition cars with original paint but these cars are also very popular to customize. It's up to you. I will put no reserve on this car that's right, NO RESERVE! Everyone has a chance!! Take a look at the pictures. I have all original documents from 1977 from the day the lady purchased the car here in Calgary, Alberta at McKay Pontiac. Enjoy and happy bidding! On Sep-07-10 at 01:39:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to add that the body is straight and the whitewall tires are in very good condition. I personally drove this car through the Rocky mountains and back to Calgary and had no problems. It is fun to drive. The body has usual blemishes from an old unrestored car and I have also told you about the rust in the lower quarter panels but the rust is limited to that area and can be repaired very nicely. There is also 2 tears along the seams of the rear vinyl seat which can't be seen in the pictures. I had a blanket on them which I forgot to move. However the vinyl seats are nice including the drivers seat and fixing the upholstery would be part of a restoration you could partake in. If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I will do my best to answer them with accuracy.
