I have a 1992 F-350 4x4, regular cab long bed, basic work truck that has the ZF 5-speed manual and the 7.5L 460 V8 gas engine. It has 307K on the odometer. I bought the truck from an auto auction from the power company Xcel Energy. It had a service bed, which I sold and replaced with a regular bed. I bought it from the company and it was only owned by them. Fleet maintained. The truck used to be an automatic, when that failed I upgraded it to the manual. (easy bolt on task). It has the SKY Offroad 3" shackle reversal kit installed to make it ride better and it helped alot. It leveled the front and allowed for the LT315/75/16 tires. (35") Recently I went through the front end with new ball joints, u-joints and all steering assembly. THE BAD>>>> The 460 engine is toast. It lost oil, and now it makes an aweful metal on metal valve sound. It will run enough to load on a trailer, but NOT drive home. Please no low ballers, parts alone are in the $3000 range with the Dana 60 front end, almost perfect 8" bed, lift kit, wheels and tires. Great for fix up.
