1992 Suzuki GSX-R

PLEASE READ THE "ME" section for information about my selling history! I am retiring from motorcycling due to health reasons and need to clear some space. I am the original owner of this GSXR and used it primarily to commute to and from work. It has never been down, never wheelied, always stored inside(even at work) and adult ridden. All maintenance performed at the dealer where I purchased it, and is up to date with valve adjustments, etc. INCLUDES extra seats! see below. This is the very rare Red and black tiger stripe, sharp looking bike and always gets compliments when I ride it. I will get the cosmetic details out of the way first. It had hard luggage mounted, and that luggage is available for an extra $250 if you are interested. This left three holes, each side, in the rear bodywork which have plastic plugs in them as you can see in the photos. There are a couple paint chips on the front of the gas tank by the triple clamps, see pics. I was hit by a golf ball while riding and the broken pieces of the windshield nicked the paint. They were touched up but didn't quite match when dried. The decal on the lower cowl, see pics, is missing part of a letter from when the bike rolled off it's side stand when new in 1992. The decals are available at the dealer but I just never felt it was important as it really isn't noticeable given it's location. The bike is ALL STOCK with the exception of the dark smoke windscreen and a throttle lock style cruise control. The bike has always been a great runner, strong. I have not ridden it in two seasons now so the carbs are a bit dirty. Bike still runs well but a tank of fresh gas with some Sea Foam or carb cleaner would be a good idea to smooth it out some. It is priced accordingly. I put in new plugs and am running some sea foam in the tank at idle when I can but it needs a good run. Exhausts, tires (Battlax BT-57), seat, all in great condition.
