Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge Charger - Rare 6 Cylinder 3 Speed on the Column, Nice Red Paint, Black Vinyl Top, New Seat Covers, New carpet, New Door Panels, New Headliner, Magnum 500 Wheels. Motor and Transmission Runs/Works well, it may need a clutch soon. It also needs the vacumn canisters for hide away headlights. This is a very nice car that only shows minor wear. This is not perfect and I do not imply that, but it is a nice 68 Dodge Charger. The frame, floor pans appears to be very solid, the only patch is the truck floor in the center between the trunk extensions. It has R/T Badges (on car when we bought it, but it is not an R/T). I understand that less than 900 of these cars were build and even less with this engine/tranny combination. If you want a sweet Charger to keep mostly stock or a big block candidate, this is the right car. Please email me if you have questions or if I can send you more pictures than I have posted. We have had this car stored in the garage since buying it and now seek other interests. On Sep-05-10 at 04:28:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I had someome send this information from the eBay community: I had not seen this before and not sure this is correct data; however if it is this car may be even more RARE then I thought, if this is the 1 and only 68 Charger with these options. Perhaps I should have done more research, but this is exciting if this is the case.On Sep-05-10 at 04:31:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I found another website that verified only one 6 cyl, stick shift charger made in 68. http://mopar-performance.bravepages.com/producti.htm A:Thank You, I will check this out.......Sep-05-10 Q:Don't know if this helps but a couple of years I ran across a web page with Dodge Charger production figures broke down by various options. According to that chart there was only one 1968 Charger made ....more A:This is GREAT information, not sure if this is the car, but that is very interesting and could be an even more "Rare" Charger......
