Smooth, comfortable, quiet ride -- this van still had many many good miles to go! Mechicanically sound nice looking 1998 GMC Conversion Van135" Wheel base. 5.7L Inj 8 cyl 2 wheel drive. Well maintained and still runs great. Smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. 153,000 miles. Good tires, good battery. Very reliable!!! Just had a full maintenance check done including lube and oil change. Replaced some rear light bulbs, did a thorough once over, did minor repairs, including replacing the idler pulley, new stem in spare tire. Silver/black exterior soft grey interior - 4 captain chairs and a rear bench that converts to a bed. Seats seven VERY comfortably with LOTS of room. Rear has plenty of storage for luggage in back and under rear seat. Center two captains chairs remove VERY easily for LOTS of additional hauling space. Take out one or both. GREAT versatillity. Middle chairs also swivel. Fully loaded. TV/VCR, swivel captains chairs,interior lighting package, am/fm/cassette. One owner, purchsed new. Body and interior in good to very good condition. (Small area - 1-2 inchess - pulling apart at seams in rear seat.) A great sound vehicle with a few old age idiocycranies such as running boards have been damaged in scrapings; radio antenna squeaks when going up; automatic windows run slow; missing cup holder on back passenger door, elastic on seat backs is stretched (could easily be redone.) Some rust beginning on lower side panel doors. This was our family car and garage kept when the children were home. We have now transitioned into two cars, using the van for a third car or extended family adventures ... only drive ocassionally the last few years, so it is time to pass it on to another owner.
