Up for sale is my really clean 1998 chevy silverado, 1500, regular cab, short bed, 2wd truck. I moved to West Virginia about a year ago. This is a southern truck from Georiga. I owned it down their and brought it here with me when I moved back to my home state of WV. This truck has NO RUST at all. It is very clean and drives great. Everything works on it. A/C blows ice cold, cruise control holds steady at whatever speed you want. Power windows and power door locks work every time, delayed wipers and tilt steering works perfectly also. Of course ir also has power brakes, power steeing and is an automatic. Last year I installed new shocks on all four corners and I installed a brand new fuel pump assmeble in the fuel tank. The truck has a brand new motor, from top to bottom. The engine is a rebuilt 350, from Carilonia Engines near Augusta Georiga. It is a 4 bolt main block (upgraded from a 2 bolt main) board 30 over. The heads were milled and the block was decked for a perfect fit. I use high performance intake gaskets when i installed the brand new intake manifold assemeble. I did NOT use the factory GM plastic intake manifold gaskets that cause all the probelms with the vortec motor. Yes I said brand new intake manifold assemble. All the sensors, injectors, switchs, etc are brand new. I found a factory take off intake manifold assemble on ebay when i rebuilding the motor. So the motor is all new. It also has a double roller timing chain, GM chrome valve covers and JBL factory fit cremanic coated headers. NO, IT NOT A RACE MOTOR. It is rebuilt to facotry specs but with a few little add-ons for realiability and looks. The body has no rust at all. Like I said it is a southern truck I brought up from georgia. I no longer need it and I keep full covrage on all my vehicle so I want to sell it, so i can take it off my insurance policy. The truck runs greats, looks great and is the last year for this style body. It is also an early 1998 chevy silverardo. In mid year 1998 chevy changed the motors to a newer model that was standard in 1999. So this is the last of its kind. Runs great, looks great and will be a great truck for someone that really missies real GM trucks. The truck has true dual exhaust. Dual factory cat converters and dual flow master mufflers. The truck has never pulled ANY thing other then my four wheeler on a small utility trailer. I know this becuase I installed the trailer hitch. Truck drives great, runs smooth and is simply a nice truck that has NOT been abused. You can tell it was well takin care of. I never had a plastic bed liner or spray in bed liner done to the truck. The tool box will stay with the truck. The inside of the tool box is carpeted and it has a center divider. The bottom of the tool box also carpeted so you do not hear any of the stuff you may in the box when you driving down the raod. The only after market equpment is the rear tail lights, front parking lights, front Projection beam headlights and front grill. All of those could be changed back to the orignial factory lights and grill if you wanted too. The front projection beam headlights have the factory headlight electical plug. The wiring harness under the hood has NOT been messed with. It is all factory. The Harness in the dash has NOT been hacked into. NO after market stereo has ever been installed.
