Vehicle Detail

Please note: This car is located in Newport Beach, California. I have a clear title in Hand. Hello, this auction is for my beloved 1990 Mondial T convertible. This is my second Ferrari and my favorite to drive. I purchased this car three years ago with 102k miles on it from a person who has three Ferrari's. I have had a wonderful time with the car. The car has spent most of its life in southern California. I have most of the records for the past 54k miles which include many upgrades and services. The car has been very well taken care of and has received most of its maintenance during the later part of its life (since 51k miles) by Ferrari Technologies, who is a very well known Ferrari expert. Many of the upgrades and recent services consisted of: TUBI exhaust muffler. TUBI cat bypass pipes DME computer chips. Polished factory wheels. Slightly lowered suspension. Ferrari Challenge front grille Ferrari Challenge rear grille Sony cd player with mp3 and XM capability Bass tube (subwoofer) Stereo sounds great even with the top down. New alternator and battery. Recent oil change. New black leather convertible boot cover. Custom made and contoured sheep skins. A/C has been converted to R134a using a new compressor, still blows comfortably cold. The car is in need of: 30k mile service (timing belt etc.) I've heard it can be done by removing the gas tank instead of the engine to gain access to the belt. New tires ($450) Passenger side windows are slow. The drivers seat has a tear in the bolster hence the sheep skin covers. Upside, (sheep skins are extremely comfortable). Scratch on pass front bumper corner. Small dent in front of rear wheel. ( I purchased the car with this) please see photo. Front air dam lip needs to be fiberglassed (please see photo). Passenger side rear shock needs to be rebuilt (send it to Phil at Truechoice shock rebuilding service in Ohio). Common rock chips on front bumper. The last major service was at 78,475k miles in may of 2004 and is due again now. However the car still runs and drives like a champ and sounds amazing with the Tubi exhaust. The car has never let me down and has always started and run reliably as a modern Ferrari should. last week I completed a 380 mile round trip from Newport Beach to Joshua tree national park and back in 114 degree heat in the desert and the car performed wonderfully. I have had a really wonderful time with this car and I will miss it very very much :( The car also comes with a Photocopied Ferrari shop repair manual and an extra ignition coil, ignition module (which are easy to changed just in case) and factory spare tire. If you know european cares pretty well then you will find this one pretty easy to work on as everything seems to be logically placed for accessibility unlike the older Ferrari's. I will be more than happy to assist the winning bidder with shipping and technical questions during the 30k mile service if you are mechanically capable/inclined and plan on doing it yourself. The winning bidder is responsible for shipping charges from Newport beach California, If you should decide to fly in to Orange county airport, I can pick you up and you can drive the car back (but please remember that the car is due for a timing belt, I have never heard of one breaking before 35k miles but..... Please note, like with all used cars, it is being sold as is with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Andy 847 849 7660 Thanks and happy bidding. On Sep-02-10 at 12:36:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Dear bidders, I received an email today notifying me that the front and rear grilles that are on the car are the original Ferrari Grilles and not the Challenge grilles. Feel free to call me at any time with any questions that you may have about the car. Thanks, Andy.
