Buying an ATV online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures. In my auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. However, if you are unable to do so I guarantee your happiness, with this: If you win, get here and find that I have misrepresented it in any way you can walk away without paying a dime and with no fear of bad feedback. ATV: This 4 wheeler is a 2004 Honda Recon 250 ES. The Recon is Honda’s 250cc, 4 stroke workhorse. It is an ES or electric shift model which means you do select between five forward gears and reverse but you do so by pushing buttons rather than shifting with your foot. The machine features electric start, shaft drive, full floor boards, and racks on both ends. The best is you get the legendary quality of a Honda. We get to own, ride and repair every ATV made and I can assure you that Honda quality is head and shoulders above the rest. Condition: This ATV is in excellent used condition. It was traded in to us by the original owner, an older gentleman who took great care of it. These models do not have an odometer but I would speculate that it has around 500 miles on it based on its condition. It starts and runs perfectly and everything works like it should, brakes, lights, transmission etc. It does not have any sloppy wheel bearings, tie rod ends or etc. Everything works exactly as it should. The plastics look excellent for its year. It has a few light scratches but nothing serious and absolutely no cracks. The tires and rims are still in good shape and have a fair amount of the original tread remaining. So overall you are getting nice used ATV at a $100 minimum bid and no reserve. You pick the price, what more could you ask for? I will be happy to work with your shipper within reason to make it go smoothly for you. Overall: Overall this is a very nice ATV that will make someone very happy. No games here, it will sell. No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, I am located in Sadieville, Kentucky (40370). We are right off Interstate 75, 25 miles North of Lexington KY and 60 South of Cincinnati, OH. I am willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. Kentucky residents will be required to pay 6% state sales tax on top of the final bid amount. We do not collect sales tax from out of state bidders and there are no other fees of any kind. I don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. I will not sell it off eBay so there is no need to ask. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. Lastly, I welcome your questions and pre-sale inspections, but it is used, so once it leaves here it is as-is.
